skirt with oya glass beads embroidered slit

A straight cut with a fitted volume, this skirt sits on mid to low waist. The side slit detail is hand embroidered with brown thread and black glass beaded mulberry motif, which was developed for edition iv with our long-time collaborator Kumru Mısırlıoğlu. Oya embroideries have been made by women in Türkiye for years. By creating and wearing these precious embroideries on their scarves, they'd express emotions and thoughts through motifs and colors.
