silk skirt with oya glass beads embroidered slit

A straight and fitted cut, this skirt sits on mid to low waist. The side slit detail is hand embroidered with pistachio glass beaded mulberry motif, which was developed for edition iv with our long-time collaborator Kumru Mısırlıoğlu. Oya embroideries have been made by women in Türkiye for years. By creating and wearing these precious embroideries on their scarves, they'd express emotions and thoughts through motifs and colors.
